On behalf of the FBNZ team, I managed to make it (only just) to the The Family Business Conference Asia-Pacific last month held on the Gold Coast. It was a great experience and I certainly left full of inspiration and motivation. I am also pleased to announce that our next Trans-Tasman opportunity will be in Adelaide on 19-21 October 2022. A highlight for me personally was listening to the powerful women in key leadership roles within family businesses such as Janine Allis from Boost Juice, Kacy Pearson-Paipa and Jayne Pearson-Cohen from Plasdene Glass Pak, and Rhonda White from Terry White Chemists. We are also extremely fortunate that one of leading women and keynote presenters, Melanie Cooper from Coopers Brewery has accepted our invitation to join us at our one-day conference in Auckland on the 21st June to share the 160 year, 6th generation family business story with us in person!
I wish to share with you some of the Conference Daily Highlight Videos produced by Shon Productions. Tuesday 8 & Wednesday 9 March Thursday 10 March
There were also many sessions that you may also find valuable and we bring to you PowerPoint presentations from may of our parallel session. There are some great golden nuggets in there and we hope you share these with your colleagues, family members and clients.
The FBANZ team are also working on a more in-depth document taking insights from some of our Advisors who attended sessions so watch this space as more detail is provided.
Many thanks,
Nicole Pluck (nee Oswell)
